Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Acemo (acemo.io) is operated by Hien Tran, an independent AI marketing consultant. You can reach us at hientran@acemo.io for any privacy-related queries.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data you provide directly:

• Newsletter subscribers: email address.
• Consulting inquiries: name, email address, company name, monthly budget range, and a message describing your challenge.

Aside from the consent-based analytics described in section 8, we do not use cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not collect data passively from visitors who do not submit a form.

3. Why we collect it

• Newsletter email: to send you the Acemo Newsletter emails you signed up for.
• Inquiry data: to respond to your consulting enquiry and assess whether we can work together.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent, given at the time you submit the form.

4. Third parties we use

Your data is processed by the following sub-processors in order to operate this service:

• Vercel— website hosting and serverless function execution (US-based). Form submissions are processed by Vercel functions but not stored there. Vercel's privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Resend— transactional email delivery. Your email address is stored in a Resend Audience to enable newsletter broadcasts, and inquiry details are delivered to us by email. Resend's privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Google Sheets— a backup copy of consulting inquiry data is stored in a private Google Sheet. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Sanity — headless CMS for blog content. Sanity does not store any personal data submitted via our forms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party.

5. How long we keep your data

• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Consulting inquiries: up to 2 years after last contact, then deleted.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Withdraw consent at any time (newsletter: unsubscribe link in every email).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hientran@acemo.io with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Subscriber and inquiry data is held by our email provider (Resend) and, for inquiry backups, in a private Google Sheet — both protected by access controls. We do not store payment card details. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — pages visited, time on site, and general traffic patterns. This helps us improve content.

• GA only loads after you click Accept on the cookie banner.
• If you click Decline, no GA cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
• To withdraw consent: clear your browser cookies or revisit the site in a private window and decline.
• To opt out globally: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
